Why give?
Counterslip Baptist Church is funded out of the blessing of God by its members and those who call it home. We give first and foremost in response to God's love for us, and we give in many ways, practically through serving on teams and prayer, but also financially.
Giving is part of our worship, one of the ways we offer thanks to God for His love to us. Giving is also part of our discipleship to Jesus, one of the ways we declare that He is king of our whole lives and one of the ways we learn to grow as His followers trusting Him with all that we have.
We give not because we must, but from a the heart, joyfully and passionately (2 Corinthians 9:7).
How to give
If Counterslip is your home church and/or you have joyfully decided in your heart to give to the work of God here then you can do that either by bank transfer or standing order.
Or on site you can give by putting cash or cheques in the black offerings box on the welcome desk, or by using the card machine also available there.

What happens to your offerings?
Your giving goes towards all that we do as we seek the Kingdom of God. Giving to Counterslip allows us to employ a staff team, hire a venue to w, provide resources for our different ministries and offer visitors a friendly welcome with tea, coffee and biscuits. It also enables us to see more people come to know Jesus and His love as we look to church plant and support our mission partners.
