We're all
about Jesus
Who is Jesus?
We all long for something more — a way forward, a truth that makes sense, and a life filled with meaning.
That’s because we were made for more. We were made for God.
Jesus is God Himself, the one through whom all things were made, the one who gives life and holds everything together.
Without Him, we are incomplete.
He said, “I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
He also said, “If you hold to my teaching, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)
The Gospel
The truth is, without God we are all lost, and deep down we all sense it, and we all see it in the world around us. The bible and the teaching of Jesus helps us to see why, because we have all found ourselves walking our own way, away from God and His goodness. This bible calls this "sin" which means to miss something, to miss the best way to live, to miss the fullness of life, to miss the heart of God for you. Sin breaks our connection with God, it breaks His law of goodness (His pattern and design for a life of goodness if you like), and it breaks His heart.
But God's heart for us is so much greater than our sin.
And so Jesus, God in human form, stepped into our world to rescue us. He lived the perfect life that we could not live, so fulfilling the law, and He gave His life on the cross, so taking our place as those who break Gods law. There He took our sin and shame upon Himself, so that we could be forgiven and set free. In standing in our place He offered us His life as He was willing to take on Himself our broken lives.

The story doesn't end there. On the third day after He died, Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin and death once and for all. Because He lives, we can have new life, a life with God now, and the hope of eternity with Him.
